Kay archtop dating.

Trying to date a Kay archtop I bought recently. "L-582" stamped on one side, "N-1" on the other side. Variation of the "Kelvinator" logo on the headstock. Tuners are aftermarket. Thanks

Guitom0:
Your Archtop does not coincide with any of the Kay model descriptions that are currently listed in The Blue Book for Acoustic Guitars, 15th Edition.

Kays are tough.

There were so many made, and specific model documentation was poor in the 1940's, 50's, and 60's.

Looks to be mid-1950's vintage to me, from all my scanning of the inter-webs.

Inter-webs, web-sites, intra-net, URLs, inter-net: whatever? Just make things up that's what I do... 😊
Be Good Bud,

Guitom0,

Interwebs is just a cute expression for 'the internet'.

It's like saying 'nucular' instead of nuclear.
