I'm looking at buying a fender deluxe 2012. I don't have a picture but I noticed the 3 single pick ups does not have a label or writing showing N3 or noiseless or fender on it. Tell me: Did some pick ups applied to 2012 fender deluxe strat had no markings on it or this one had been replaced by the seller. Please advise. Thanks JP

JP,

Are you talking about a Stratocaster Deluxe?

So in answer to my question this 2012 fender deluxe Stratocaster I'm planning to purchase, the pick up's are authentic N3 pick ups even without the usual markings of N3 or fender logo?

If they are legitimate Fender Noiseless pickups, they should have the 'Noiseless' logo on them, like this:

If the pickups look different, there's either a chance that the guitar:

* isn't a Deluxe
or
* has had the pickups changed out by a previous owner

I hope this helps.

The seller said he's the second owner, he figured the original owner replaced the caps. I am a little suspicious that the original pick ups were replaced. See attached pics.

Thank you

It's a tough call.

I am looking at a few other Deluxe Stratocasters from the 2012 range, +- a year or two, and some of them came with noiseless, while others didn't.

Is this a local, hands-on purchase, or a long-distance mail order deal?

🙁

The hard shell case and all the other details look authentic, I'll say that much. Looks real to me.

Well then, the solution is clear;

Ask to meet the seller somewhere safe, and hold/play the guitar with your own hands.

That's how I sold my last two guitars.
