I have a Mesa Boogie F50 which also has an FX loop.

The pedals I currently use (never more than one on at a time)
are all Boss.
Chorus CH-1
Flanger BF-3
Digital Delay DD-6
Metal Zone - MT-2
TU-2 Tuner
Ernie Ball Volume Pedal

Which effects should I run through the FX loop, and which should I run direct to the amp?
Should I run all through the loop?

Oh, the amp has it's on footswitch for the gain and contour channels.

I really like the F-50. It's very loud, I should have gone with the F-30 size wise but the 50 just sounded a little bit warmer.

The recording out on it is pretty useless. I've got a Tascam 788 and I tried the recording output to the 788 but it just didn't sound good. I've had a hard time getting a nice sounding recording with the 788 yet.

However, just miking up the front speaker did much better in terms of sound quality when recording.

I really like it and can recommend it.

Most people run their time-based effects in the loop and the rest before the input. That means your Chorus, Flanger, and Delay would be in the loop and the rest would be between your guitar and the amp. Of course, that's just most people. I've got a flanger in the loop on mine and a phaser going into the input. It really depends on whether you want your gain and tone stack to affect the effect.
The most fundamental fact about the ideas of the political left is that they do not work. Therefore we should not be surprised to find the left concentrated in institutions where ideas do not have to work in order to survive.
