Where can I get a 5F1 Champ Kit?

And what would be a good price for such a kit?

Yeah, the chassis looks like it's just visiting back there, butt..
that's a fair price. A couple of things I'd check out....
The Champ would sound as good, but louder with solid state diodes, quite a bit cheaper to build. Put in a standby switch.
Put a parts list together from the schematic, find a source for trannys, you could make up a pretty cheap kit yourself. Go to a local sheet metal shop for aluminum chassis blanks, use a hole saw for the sockets. Butt.. kits are great for learning.

Allen Amps now has a 5F1 kit. He's got a range of pricing depending on your cabinet choice. It's got a 10 inch speaker, though, which wil make ita bit louder than a norman champ.
