Yeah, Niagara is getting too commercialized now.
There's the Casino Niagara on the Canadian side of the falls and there's the
Seneca Casino on the American side in the old Niagara Falls Convention
Center.
I don't go up there too much at all, it gets to me that you have this majestic work of nature and all this 'trash' around it because everybody wants to make a quick buck. Pathetic.
They don't even have the Festival of Lights any more. That was something worth doing, spending a few hours in the middle of winter just taking everything in.

The Tommies...no never heard of them but now I am old and married (43 - 8yr old Daughter) I dont get out much unless its to take the rubbish out. lol
I am actually getting out to see some live Music soon - have bought tickets to see a Pink Floyd Tribute band coming here in June - I worship the Floyd so i hope they wont be a disappointment. call themselves Think Floyd - supposed to be very good.

nah, grew up around the Captain Kidds/Mickey Rats area and now living somewhere South of Buffalo (but more North than where I grew up from )
I haven't been to Lewiston in years. Last time I went was for Artpark and a hike in the Niagara Gorge(sp?). Was very scenic back then, dunno bout now.

And music. I loved physics in High School, got in to Avionics instrument systems in the Air Force, worked on Submarines as a civilian, and now run medium sized School construction projects for an electrical contractor. I love my trade and the theory behind it. And what is so cool is the physics are the same for my career as my hobby.

I lived in the Chicago area all my life till last year.
Now I am 100 miles west of Chicago and this is as "Hicksville" as it gets.
At least when I want to go gig or jam in Chicago it's only a 90 minute ride.

I live in Mississauga Ontario Canada but my wife is from Liverpool. She tells me of a band that plays in the basement of a bar on Mathew street on
Sunday afternoons. (she thinks the pub is the Green Apple? or some name). Do you know of it? Her uncle used to play in bands in L'pool and has his band names on the wall in Mathew street.

I wasn't yet born in the 60's. LOL

We used to go to the Clam Bake. It is now a huge sit down restraint. I remember in the 60's and 70's when it was a small walk up White Shack on
Pine Point Road. I go back there and my first stop is at Amato's for an
Italian sandwich, and my second stop is for an Angelone's Pizza. They pack them in the standard cardboard box now, but they still have an option to put them in the two plates stapled together. The plates are mandatory for the taste. I liked Bill's Pizza at Old Orchard. And don't forget fries with
White Vinegar and Carmel Corn on the Pier.
