A friend of mine here has a Fender Bullet from 1980 or 1981 (have to recheck the serial number), in pretty good condition. He`s wondering what it`s worth to sell...any ideas?

Nope, his is one of the US-made Bullets. But I`ve talked him into not selling it--it`s his first guitar, after all.

No, they made an entry level guitar called the Bullet in the early 1980s. Apparently they started off in Japan, but the quality sucked, so they brought production back to the States for a year or so, using surplus Telecaster and Stratocaster parts. Then they sent production back to Japan again. Then the line faded.

According to Blue Book of Electric Guitars a mint Bullet is only worth between $215 to $275 depending on the model. The Korean mint Bullets go for $250. The US mint Bullets anywhere between $215 to $275. The Bullets list price started at $189. The p/u were "leftover" Mustang p/u.

I wanted to do something nice so I bought my mother-in-law a chair. Now they won't let me plug it in.
