What is the value of my guitar? I purchased it in 1990 new. It is mint condition. 1 tiny scratch on back. It says Fender Squire Bullet. It has a star with a 1 in the center. Here are a few numbers: E732436, 8400, 11589. Some of these numbers are on my purchase receipt. It is black. I don't have it here right now for pictures. At my other home. Any ideas? Thanks, Carolyn

Good morning, Carolyn.

Your 1987 Squier Bullet was made in Japan.
In the condition you describe, it is worth $200 to $250 US Dollars.

Most modern Squiers aren't all that sought-after, but yours is a bit of a find.
If you decide to sell it, you should have no shortage of Squier enthusiasts wanting to purchase it from you.

And don't be thrown off by the difference between year of manufacture and year of original sale new.

Your serial number would indicate that the guitar was made in Japan in either 1987 or early 1988.

Some guitars spend long periods of time in transit, in warehouses, and hanging on the wall at music stores before they are eventually sold.

I myself purchased a brand new Epiphone Fat 300 guitar over in Honolulu, Hawaii. This was in 2001.
The actual year of manufacture of that guitar, and it came from Korea, was 1999.
