I have an original Ampeg B15N in fair shape cosmetically and very good functionally that I`m considering selling. Recently had it recapped. Can anyone advise me what would be a fair asking price? Streetlight Studios, NY 212-246-6100 http://www.streetlightstudios.com

From what I`ve seen on eBay, they`re getting about $300-800 depending on condition for the `60s vintages. If you want to throw it into your car and drive out to Colorado with it, I`d put you up for a week, let you fish in my trout stream, nap in the hammock, watch the Blue Heron from my deck and just generally chill out. I`d even introduce you to some of the local lovelies. You wouldn`t even have to take the amp back with you... Had a new one back in the `60s and loved it. Wouldn`t mind having one again.

Thanks for the offer Neal, but the only problem would be I haven`t owned a car in 14 years, since moving to Manhattan.

Okay, throw it into a cab and c`mon out! I`ll even up the ante and throw in a cat--your choice: black or tabby. Since you`re in Manhattan, there should be all kinds of local people and music stores who`d be dying to get their hands on it, no? Being in the recording business, I`d think you`d have been beating people off with a stick. No one interested? Hard to believe.
