Hi
I am looking for a guitar that sounds as much like the Gibson Les Paul as possible, but for much less money, since this is all rather new to me. I have heard not such great things about the Les Paul studio and was wondering why people don't like it?
What would you recommend?
Thanks.

Hi Anna, I must confess I haven't played one yet as I am retired and no longer play pro....However, I checked out a couple of "Youtube" "Studio" trials and for me for the price range it looks a very nice guitar.
I have also included a review by several users. I recommend that you go to your dealer and have a really good play of it and see what you "Personally" think. I have mentioned before but it is so true it is totally personal when it comes to likes and dislikes.

The advise I always give is be sure its what "You" want...."Choose in haste, repent at leisure" Go back a couple of times if necessary also if possible take your amp to play through, phone the store 1st as a few don't like that.
