I did the basic Little Gem, and yes, it is loud enough to accompany unmiked vocals. I suspect that the volume is directly related to the speaker and cab though, so your mileage may vary.

There is no comparison. You need to play them for yourself. Try a JMP 2204 Master Volume or an early JCM 800
