I just grabbed my old dreadnaught and realized one of the strings sounded dead, so I put new strings on it. WOW, what a difference! I don't play this guitar very much, and I hardly ever change the strings on it -- I kinda like the mellow tone as 80/20s age -- but sometimes I forget what a huge difference new strings can make on any guitar.

Still, I can't understand how only "one" string could just die like that.
I think it was the D.

nights are still cold as hell.

mornings are blue and crisp all that crispness makes me shudder it's never humid always dry and crisp with no oceans.
my hair is static, always static

her moons hang like i linger without enough gravity to help me shit.

I prefer her bars to the deserts the oxygen is thin but it's breathable, breathable.
reminds me of Australia's red deserts.
occasional flowering species and genetic mutant reptilies adapted, now
"inigenous", covered in the morning's dry ice frost.

frosty desert cold summer mornings crisp and clear.
the water farmers have lakes, thin lakes like mirages on the landscape.
thin water like letting spun gold slip through your fingers slowly falling dripping and half evaporating before it hits the ground.
lighter than air in your fingers. as light as a billion bubbles.

ore farms ship her elements home, elements unheard of shielding objects from gravity they say a planet full of it, amplified, out of phase, turning the negative attraction attraction, into "interstellar propulsion".
propulsion ?
attraction rather i thought.
crisp mornings on a brand new paradise,
"city world in a thousand years i bet", i thought to myself,
"exploited, defecated".

(the beer in the morning tasted so good such pure water)
I cried for my mother Mars before she was born.
I continued to sit in her bars and wrote poems and praises of love for my red mother
As I foresaw her future past.

Just order a pickguard without a 3rd hole. That's what I did.

Put in a mini toggle to kick in the bridge pickup. You can add neck & Bridge or all three. I have done a couple like that, then you have 7 settings.

I have an old (Well, I don't know how old) Zoom 9000 effects processor someone gave me. He had it for at least 4 or 5 years. It works fine, though
I don't play electric guitar much anymore. I'd like to sell it. Anyone know what it's worth?

Please reply by email if you can

Yes they make them, but they aren't particularly known for them (your question is evidence of that). I'm sure that some of them are good instruments, but when I think 12 strings I think Guild or Taylor, even though I enjoy other Martin guitars quite a bit.

It's more than just your strumming, it's how the guitar is setup.
You were on the right track when you had the .010s installed, but you need to go back and demonstrate to the tech exactly what your problem is.

You can also read this, it's an okay place to get started:

http://www.mrgearhead.com/faq/stratsetup.html

And, Dan Erlewine's Guitar Player Repair Guide book has come in handy for me on several occasions.

Keep after it. You'll catch on quick.
