The Henry Clay People - For Cheap Or For Free

The Henry Clay People get credit from me (and just about everyone else) for a lot of things, not least of all is  this brilliant album cover, for there latest - For Cheap or For Free.

The Artwork is superb, as is the concept, both embody the music and heart in this album perfectly.

Happy go lucky with lots of heart, completely connected to reality and at the same time completely blowing it off.

I read a lot about music and often, the music doesn’t stand up to the description. Most often the musicians are talented, the lyrics and playing are up to par but performance lacks heart, and for all intents and purposes one could be listening to a karaoke performance.

Not in this case. These guys are obviously completely into their music, standing behind it 100% making the listening experience so much better.

I have to agree with Can You See the Sun when he says

This record is really really good.

Obviously, We are not alone in thinking this, their tour date list on their MySpace page is sold out for a good few of the shows, so for once, I am not in a minority opinion about this music.
