Hey everyone,

I recently discovered my very first guitar, a good ol' Squier Strat hiding in the closet. After dismantling it and giving a very thorough clean, I now need to re-adjust the truss rod. Now, my question is, is this done with an allen-key on squier strats? If yes, what size?

P.S. I now own a 1992 Gibson MIII. It's one of the most amazing electric guitars I've ever laid my hands on. One-piece maple neck, maple fretboard, maple body, 2 humbuckers, one single-coil. Anyone heard of it?

Hi apap86, welcome to the forum I hope you will like it here.

I believe yes. This is done with an allen-key on squier strats. I don't own such a guitar myself but I've read this is the case.

I hope though more reliable (from own experience) information will be offered soon by other members here
