Hi
Let me first say that I love the sound of my strat
I have single coil pickups that are connected to the selector using crimps. I was wondering if I could improve the sound even more by ditching the crimps and soldering the pickups in?
What do you think?

Hi Gwen, The old adage fits here "If it isn't broke, don't fix it" If you want to make sure however, that the connections are good ones get a multimeter and test the connection, if it shows the contact is good why alter it?if it does,nt show that then yes I would recommend soldering...A tip here put a heatsink (aligator clip or the likes) on the PU side of the lead to avoid overheating.
