I'm new here so I was just wondering what the folks here are doing musically and where and with what are they doing it?

I'm in NC just outside of Raleigh.

I'm in a hard rock comedy band named Pfiesteria that is on hiatus because our drummer had to move to Illiinois (www.pfiesteria.net).

I'm also in a prog/psychedelic/classic rock band called Silent Resonance (www.silentresonance.com).

I also just joined up with some dudes to do a Rush tribute band but we haven't played out yet because we're still learning the songs.

My main guitars are a Gibson SG and a Line 6 Variax 300. I use a POD XT Live for my effects. I have a Peavey Roadmaster half stack that I play out with.

pyrodoctor, welcome here I am happy you joined us.

A "rock COMEDY band"?? :: I never heard of those before.
I just went to the myspace site of it, and am having a ball
