Ross Compressor pedal

This weekend, I bought a Ross Compressor pedal from a producer friend of mine, for a very low price. It had been in the basement of his house for a couple of years, and the basement had flooded. Now, while I don`t think the pedal was immersed in water, being in that moist environment didn`t do it any good, and when I unscrewed the back plate to check the battery, it was so corroded that the female connector in the battery pad came off with it. So, since I don`t have a power supply for the pedal, I have two questions:
1) Where can I find a schematic and parts list for the original pedal? I`m going to have to take it and have it repaired, so I`ll need a schematic, just in case it needs more than just a new battery pad, which is very likely.
2) Can I buy a power supply for it? If so, what kind would I need?

the Ross compressor is considered to be one of the best ones ever made. I would contact The Analog Man ( www.analogman.com ) about it. I`m sure he can repair it for you.

Sure, we can repair/restore it if you would like, we have fixed up quite a few of those.
You can find the schematic at geofex.com if you have a local repairman that is good.
Any decent effects 9V power supply will work, put a 1/8" plug on it with positive tip and you will be all set. If you send it to use for repair we can sell you an EH adaptor with the correct plug for $15.
