Thanks for the replies in the earlier post. How difficult is it to install the Fender roller nut? any tips, suggestions or warnings?

if you can I really would get a guitar tech to do it, it's not worth taking the chance and knackering your guitar

If I were you, I'd thin seriously about fitting the roller nut. I had one in my Strat Plus, and it was a real PITA. It prevents any single string adjustment which can prove to be a real drawback. The guy who does my set-ups thinks there one of Fenders worst ideas ever.

Just my 2 cents..
Doing what little one can to increase the general stock of knowledge is as respectable an object of life, as one can in any likelihood pursue.
