is a piece of garbage. haven`t touched it in years.
Though as for them not letting people copy them....it also ensures you have to pay an arm and a leg to get one

Actually, Rickenbackers are priced better than Gibsons and a lot more bang for the buck (IMO). Most models range between $9-1600 and resale is high, i.e., they don`t depreciate like many other brands. The downside is that you either like them or you hate them due to the physical characterisitics of their necks and fretboards being narrow and lacquered. Their is also a perception that they are one-trick ponies but outside of the twelve strings they really do have a lot of utility. And they are quality instruments.
