I am trying to find somebody that makes or has Rickenbacker 4001 style bass body/neck blanks...as I want to add my own hardware and pickups to it..I dont want any pickup holes dug out....as i am planning on installing non Rick p/u's

roto, I think those will be hard to find to say the truth. I have looked around the internet and there was absolutely nothing being offered (as blanks without holes etc.) I'll keep my eyes open for you though.

You can try by contacting Ed Roman Guitars. I understand that they sale blancs for guitars and basses that they fabricate in their own shop. They are located in Las Vegas.

They customise and also sell "Body" blanks.(Just a piece of wood with the correct dimensions.
