I'm trying to add a footswitch to my Vox Cambridge 30....finding one here is impossible, I'll have to mail-order it.
In the meantime, I've found a Fender footswitch, it has two buttons, Channel
Select and Reverb (each with an LED) and no cable, just a 1/4" jack input.
But a standard jack doesn't work--so what will? Are there special single-jack stereo cables available?
Answer quick--I have to return the thing tomorrow!

I have that exact footswitch for my Fender red knob Twin. The footswith uses a regual mono guitar or speaker cable. The switching is done through adjusting the voltage. It's actually complicated, but the amp sends a signal to the amp and depending what LED is on drops the voltage and tells the amps internal IC chips to swtich.
