I'm a novice and am looking to buy a bass. I like the sound and feel of a Fender Jazz bass, but I prefer the shape of the Precision. Is the answer to buy a Precision Deluxe? Is a precision deluxe the same thing as a Jazz bass but with a Precision body? Thanks a lot.

There's the nut width/neck 'feel' to consider... (my '73 custom deluxe precision came with a 'jazz' neck from new and I can't get on with the standard precision neck... Too wide for my hands
I know nothing about sex because I was always married.
