Try http://www.projectguitar.com/, http://www.stewmac.com/, http://www.guitarnuts.com/index.php, http://www.allparts.com/, http://www.guitarpartsusa.com/cgi-bin/ccp/cp-app.cgi, http://www.warmoth.com/, http://www.kgb-music.co.uk/guitarparts.htm, http://guitar.about.com/cs/repairs/, http://www.fretnotguitarrepair.com/links_materials.htm, http://www.lmii.com/, http://www.customshopparts.com/guitar/
Or as I usually suggest, do a SEARCH at a SEARCH engine where you enter phrases like "Building electric Guitars" or something similar into the
SEARCH string box and press "enter" or click the button.
I hope this helps

Carvin also sells their Bolt guitar in kit form that I've heard good things about.

Here come the flames for cross-posting and for using Line 6 amps...
I apologize in advance
I have a Line 6 Spider amp I'd like to build a foot switch for.
I can't justify spending $50 for the FB-4 or who knows what for the Floorboard. A Google search turns up a schematic that does what I want (channel switching, bank up/down - see http://tinyurl.com/q2o4)
Does anyone have any other information that might help?

$50?
I can't believe you could get the parts for a reasonable portion of $50.

The schematic shows 4 resistors and 4 momentary switches. Add to that some sheet metal to bend into a case, and I'd say it would run considerably less than $50. More like $10 depending on what's in my parts box at the time

I want to rearrange my pedals a bit which in a couple of places will require me to split the signal. Coming off my A/B/C switch I need to feed both a Sabine tuner and Fulldrive2 and then further down one loop coming out of an Oxygen and feeding both a DL4 and a Clyde.
How acceptable is it to simply make/use a passive splitter cable? Are there significant benefits to something like a BS2 or building a xformer isolated splitter? Recommendations on circuit design?

I don't think that it's a good idea to simply parallel effects units. You will be lowering the resistance to ground, and on a passive guitar it will probably "suck tone", reducing highs at a minimum. I'd think that you'd want buffered outputs.

Thanks Jim. Any recommendations on boxes or circuitry would be very welcomed.

'alt.guitar.jazz' group so I'll try the google route like you said.
BTW, what kind of jazz box are you tinkering with? I really like the playability of the Epi Emperor II, just a few downsides that'll be upgraded along the way:
Plastic nut - will be changed out to a bone nut
Pups - looking for something gutsier
Pots and toggle switch - will get these upgraded when I do the pups
Fret polish - just needs a bit more refinement, especially a touch-up of the fret ends that tend to be a bit too sharp (I use my thumb over the neck a lot, and I don't like getting scraped up!)
But the tone is basically solid, and the maple back/sides have a nice flame. Plus, I just like that big, fat hollow body.
