how do i get phil collen's sound using line6 spider valve.

Hi Danny5, I don't know what model you have but a couple of idea's are if you have one of the following use the obvious artist setting

Spider III 75, 120, 150, and HD150, take your pick from 250 artist presets, including settings.

If not one of these models I would be inclined to go to Line 6 forum site address below.

After YEARS of using EQ's and all sorts of different effects, the best way to get his tone is to play like him. Nowadays his sound is very stripped down. He uses TONS of delay on any solo stuff and has a very strong vebrato when he plays. Also getting a PC-1 would help out. That is the only custom model that I can say is a must have for sounding like the person who designed it. He also uses REAL heavy strings. (12-56) I think, and uses steel picks. All that stuff combined makes a very unique sound.
