I have a Peavey Vandenberg Puzzle in fairly good condition for sale here in
Copenhagen, Denmark.
How much could I expect to get from it?

pics can be found at: www.merekat.dk/vandenberg
If you are really a product of a materialistic universe, how is it that you don't feel at home there?

A Vandenberg guitar, while perhaps considered by some as being "collectable" and praised in a guitar "blue book", is clearly not worth much as determined by the free market - ebay.
Ultimately the bond of all companionship, wheather in marriage or in friendship, is conversation.

Well I know there is a resurgance in 80's hair guitar going on , but you would be suprised what a dealer will offer for a Peavey .
even if it was a US Kramer or BC Rich , they unfortunately fetch very little.
Try Ebay with a £400 reserve perhaps ?
you never know what stuff will fetch on E Bay

I have a black on white puzzle and I paid £1500 for it. With only around 6 in the world, this will become the modern equivalent of the gibby '58-60 les paul judging by the amount of people after them.

In fact I've been offered £2500 for it already but best to hang on to it I feel.

that's a good deal.

But, I agree with you. To hang onto it would probably be best as value goes up

Hi again

Well, I was told or read somewhere back in the midst of time that only 5 or 6 of the black on white had been made but how true is this really? Does anyone have any more solid info? There's actually a white on black puzzle for sale in Holland at the mo for anyone who's interested and the guy said he wanted around 2800 Euro for it. This was only last week and I was devastated that I couldn't afford it when lo and behold, the white one came up which as you now know, I got for £1500! woohoo!! I actually prefer the look of the black puzzle but what the hell eh. Anyway here's the link for the thing in case anyone's interested. He seems like an ok guy and he's willing to negotiate a bit. Best be quick though coz he's thinking of putting in on ebay.

Oh yes they are very special. I don't know if there are only 5 or 6 of them but special they are. The puzzle at marktplaats looks beautiful. For the moment I am not interested in buying it but somehow I have a feeling that one day they are going to be worth a lot more even - so I bet it's a good investment as well.
