I bought this little practise amp some time ago. Recently, I opened it up to see whether I could fiz an annoying crackle, and in doing so, noticed that the circuit board is described as being for the Park G10 and Park G10R. I also noticed that it has a space on the circuit board flor a potentiometer where the reverb knob would have been if it had been a Park G10R. I`m wondering if I soldered on a potentiometer, I would get "free"reverb?

Well, you never know. However, I concede that the reverb chip is probably missing from the circuit board, so you would have to work out where the reverb chip went, and find a compatible chip.

there for you. Ask Marshall for the schematic for the Park G10R and find out though.
It might have used one of those oddball bucket brigade IC chips for the reverb, because I doubt that they put a reverb pan in something that cheap and small. I don`t think those are all that easy to come by.

By which, I take it you mean cheap`n`nasty ?
I can`t say I am particularly clued up on electronics, but is it possible that there are chips out there with similar pin-outs?
Oh well, it was worth a try

the reverb sounds. All the companies used them. Most reverb pans were made by a company named Accutronics. that if you like the amp, because there`s a good chance that you`ll destroy the thing. Or not. Cheap amp anyhow, so it wouldn`t cost much to replace if you did.
