Hi
I got an Epiphone SG G-400 a few months ago and It really hurts my wrist when I play standing up.
I was wondering if it was my wrist that was the problem, or should I look into getting a guitar with a lighter neck?
Cheers

Hi Shelly, Thats a bummer when something like that happens. A couple of things I would suggest...One is sqeezing a sponge ball periodically through the day this will build strength in the wrist, don't overdo it though, just so its comfortable and as you get stronger it will become natural to squeeze a little harder. Ref if it could be the particular guitar, if you haven't had the problem before then it was suggest that its the culprit, I personally would be inclined to borrow from a friend one with a different neck and see how you are with that....if you are o.k. that is probably the answer ..if not the problem lies in the wrist, I know I get that at times these days as I am well past the sell by date and have arthritis. If you don't know anyone with another git I would hire one for one evening and find out that way.

Hope this helps.
