I believe I have a bad SAD1024 chip. Does anyone know where to get one. Other than the $36.00 one on EBAY. Or does anyone know a replacement, or can the circuit be modified to accept a substitute chip (i.e. MN3007). I am a tech of some sort.

Best regards,

Hi RTrib I found this info, may be worth checking out.

As I understand it the SAD1024A are equivelants. Smallbearelec.com has them at $14.95. However, please check the validity of it being a direct equivalent, as I couldn't find info that etched that in stone.

All the best

Phil,

Thanks for a quick response. I went to small bear and did not see them. I even did a search on his site. When did you see them there?

Best regards,
