Hi Ya'll:
Need to grab some of ya'll experience and vast knowledge on guitars. Fender tells me that they do not make bridge covers for modern Telecasters and do not know of anyone that does. Do any of ya'll out there know where I can get a bridge cover that will fit a 2008 American Standard Telecaster? I'm stumped and have looked on line but can only find vintage bridge cover and from what I'm told they do not fit modern Tele's.

Can someone build me one?

Bare Bridged in Greenville, SC

Thanks & Best Regards,
Kevin....

To build you one? I think you are supplying a new job opportunity - seen in light of the fact that those covers don't exist and there probably are more people wanting to have one

It's called a brain fart. Normally, the reply box fills in the user name automatically (like on this one) and I thought it was asking me to fill in the addressees name in the box. Since, I was respponding to your reply I put your user name in the box and found out after sending it that it was a boo-boo on my part. I will cease the forging of e-mails utilizing your user name.... Sorry about that Mr. Slash!!!!

No harm done. Quite funny actually (I hope I'm not insulting you by thinking it's funny).

I think it's when one isn't logged in that the username doesn't appear automatically

You can't insult a concrete block.... That's about how sentitive I am. I've been on to many construction sites as the Site Engineer to get insulted. No harm, no foul Mr. Slash.

Ay ay, sir (though that would be a more appropriate way to address a sailor instead of a construction site engineer )

Never was a sailor, now you have insulted me.... I'm a former Marine Corps Sgt. Why would I join a branch of the service where they call you a seamen? Think about it!!!!

Now you insulted the profession of my dear (late) father

Nothing wrong in being a sailor, Sgt. Buck, USMCR. Especially in those days they were very, VERY brave people.
