Howdy, 1st post; I'm planning another guitar build & want to look into installing a micro tilt neck adjuster. After the tele project I got frustrated shimming & re-shimming to get the angle just right. Finally got it, but maybe I should just put a micro tilt in to start with? Where can you buy the whole works?

Teleblaster, the truth is that I have no idea where one can purchase this. Have you tried looking in the yellow pages in your area? Or are you looking at an internet buy?

Been searching the net & found neck plates but no complete assembly. I've been thinking about using a "T" nut & a quarter with a set screw in the t nut. The quarter would be on top of the t nut so the screw doesn't go thru the neck. I'd have to cut a recess in the body deep enough for both. Think this might work?

Ohmy, I would really like to be able to say "yes" without a doubt but, being that I have not heard of doing it like that before I am afraid I can only say that I THINK that might work...

I like to experiment. I'll look for a cheap guitar & try this out!

Definately. Both of my current guitars play well; "it works don't fix it!" I am looking for cheap, busted guitars to practice on.
