Specifically the archtops/ Hourglass QHT- http://www.michaelkellyguitars.com/archtops/
Anyone have any experience with them? I read the Harmony Central reviews, what few there were, and they were pretty positive overall. But there`s not much more info out there, at least that I can find.
Also, any opinions on Bigsby trems? Such as tuning issues, etc.?

i got two of them......the 335 imitation and the hourglass rootbeer.....ok....not great....pretty looking and seems to be good workmanship.... pretty dull sounding, started to have lots of buzz problems too, major fretout problems around 12th fret. Both guitars behaved identically.
I would recommend to put your money towards a good guitar...look at used.....Carvin, G&L, or other, unless you can get it super cheap on Ebay. He aways has 50 or so a week on Ebay.
I got a G&L legacy now, and now I cant make myself pick up the Michael Kellys.

crop of surprisingly good Korean guitars.
I picked up a Raven RP450, basically a clone of the PRS hollowbody. This is a Mahogany body with arched flame maple top, maple set neck.
The pickups have rather odd looking gold covers on them, but sound really good. The neck pup is pretty close to the Duncan Jazz, and the bridge is pretty damn punchy. Both are potted and sealed with no squeal that you might expect from a Korean guitar
Feels great, sounds great, looks incredible! No fret buzz
Sells for app $330 new with lifetime warrantee and free shipping!
Don`t know how they can sell this for so little.

I have had good luck with a solid body MK hourglass P90 guitar my wife bought me as a gift. It was on Ebay as a blem in the finish. I can`t really find anything I would cal a blem. It needed the bridge tuned. Other than that it was set up very well. The nut height was good, the frets level and finished, bridge height good, pickup height good. Overall I would say that was at least of higher end Eppiphone quality and possibly what I would expect for a Gibson.
As for Bigsby`s, It has been about 20 years so I may have some "creative memory". I remember they caused me big tuning problems, this may be due to the fact it was on a fairly flimsy Gibson SG with a conventional bridge and not some type of roller bridge. If I used it for anything other than the tinyest warble all six stings immedeatly went out of tune.
So in my opinion: Michael Kelly solid body - Good Bigsby - Bad chainsaw willie!
