I have just purchased a Les Paul Kit, and want to do a tobacco burst finish, but am not sure how. Can I use spray cans instead of an air brush?

Yes but do a few practice pieces first. You're going to some spatter but don't freak or try to fix it too soon. Come back later & clean up. Spray fanning out & above all keep moving!

Hi Hendrix, I would be inclined to purchase a "Finishing" book from someone like Stewart McDonald or the like Here is a link if it helps
