Anybody know his set-up? I know he uses martin acoustic, Fender Strat...what else?

fender twin, SRV strat, not a lot of effects- bit of a REAL player

SRV strat without SRV pickguard and with right-handed tremolo. right?

that yellow, see through Strat he plays. What is that thing made of; it looks like some kind of plastic?

Hello Jim A, welcome to the forum

I don't know which strat you are talking about. The only yellow I know of is in the neck of one of his guitars.

Do you have more info on it?

Hey Slash - thanks for the welcome.

I haven't seen him play it, just saw him pictured with it on the back cover of Rolling Stone, June 12, 2008 issue (100 greatest guitar songs ever - debateable). It's got a rosewood fretboard and it looks yellow, maybe it's just banged up a bit and it looks plastic, especially to the left of the base pickup.

naw - that's his whatever acoustic. Maybe I need my eyes checked. That Strat on the back cover of the RS issue looks yellow and plastic. Maybe it's his SRV.
