Jeff Beck Info...1974 or 1975

I'd seen Jeff Beck in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada during summer of '74 or '75 somewhere around "Blow by Blow" album or when he was using the "Voice Box - Fibulator" thing on guitar...I'm trying to remember the Bassist and Drummer that was with him...Wasn't Bogert & Appice...Two Black gentlemen...Was a very cool show as there was only a couple of hundred people there...Was during "Klondike Days" exhibition in what was called Calvacade of Stars or something like that...Bass and Drum were beautiful funky blues with bit of jazz...Loved it ! Was also one of the last gigs I'd seen with one of my buddies as few months later he'd OD'd in Amsterdam...Still thinkin' back to music, life 35 years ago...Since I'm asking questions...I'm also trying to remember the name of Band who did a saxophone solo on a Funk album somewhere around Tower of Power, AWB (70's)...Sax blows for couple of minutes but melody still in my mind...Thanks y'all...Shante'...

Rodney, how sad I know what you must be feeling - those emotions are going through me as well when remembering times when I could enjoy the warmth of good friends that are not longer around - those times being coated with the tunes of wonderful music that will always bring me back to those times and relive them.

Unfortunately I am not familiar with that concert.. I wish I could help you out. Perhaps other members here remember it....
