I was playing a MIM Strat at a store the other day. I loved playing it, and although it was supposed to be new it has some big scratches and a couple of dings on it. It was priced at $500, and I was wondering what kind of a discount I could get because of its scratches and dings?

Hi Guest, The best thing to do is tell the assistant you are genuinely interested in purchshing it and ask "Whats's the best possible deal you can give me" ? If you like what you hear buy it if not say you wern't thinking of paying that much...Be prepared with a counter offer say 15% less or $75 bucks less.
