Hi everyone!
I recently sold a Mesa/Boogie Lone Star Special head to a guy in France.
He would like me to have the conversion to 220V done here in the states before I ship it.
Does anyone know where I can get the transformer? I suggested Mercury Magnetics but he doesn't want to spend that much money no matter how awesome it is.
I would appreciate any help on this matter.
Thanks in advance

Phil-

Thanks for the info! I'll certainly check out this supplier.
BTW, nice Telecasters. My wife keeps after me to build one, says she likes the way they sound.
I just tell her,'It doesn't matter what it says on the top of the guitar, I can make 'em all sound like crap!'.
I've been a Strat guy for years but I did see a Tele I like in the window of our local music store. It's a new American Standard in sea-foam green w/matching headstock and matching SFG amplifier. Pretty cool!
Anyway, thanks again! See you around the forum!

Hi Tonedaddy, Great and typical musicians sense of humour... I told slash once that a friend of mine was saying to me how he still had an acoustic I sold him years ago, he said he was going to give it to his grandson and tell him that it was once owned by a great musician and added I will also tell him you owned it...ha ha.

I also played a strat for some time, but as I played a lot of country I tended to use the Tele more. Also in 45 years as a pro I played a lot of Ax's. Another favourite of mine was a Gretsch Duo Jet

The picture is me with my black Strat (can't see much of it) When I played lead for an English band called "Apache'" 1978
