I have a fender strat and the s/n is CY98117062. I cant find it anywhere. I am wanting to know its year and what it could be worth...Can you help

Hi Guest, The "C" prefix was used in 1982, but I have never ever come across a CY prefix, you can ask fender but I doubt very much that it is a genuine Fender with that prefix....
