I am setting up my guitar for slide. The 13-56 gauge strings seem to bend the neck a little, and I really don't want to warp the neck permanently. Any suggestions?

Hi Guest. When you install the "Extra Heavy" gauge strings, let the guitar sit for a day and then adjust your truss rod and obtain the correct neck relief for your guitar. If you go back to lighter gauge you should repeat the process for the new gauge strings.

Useless Trivia:
Stevie Ray Vaughan used 13-58g detuned to Eb on his strat.... Providing you make the necessary truss rod adjustment no harm will come to your Axe.
