I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a "good" humbucker available in a single coil size, to use as a replacement on my Strat without having to open up the cavity more ?

I just got a Lil 59 and it doesn't fit the pickguard.

Gotta get out my Dremel.

I have the Duncans in my Strat and they sound just fine. Not really as hot as I'd hoped, but they were just meant to sound vintage and not hum, which is what they do.

BTW, does Duncan make a Stacked Humbuck like this with higher output?

yes... and it's awesome..it's the lil' 50 from seymour duncan... it
KICKS butt...i still can;t believe how good this humbucker plays..wayy better that a hot rails
