In the immortal words of Homer Simpson:
"D'OH!!"
I just looked at my Korg GA-30 Guitar/Bass Tuner and noticed that one of the buttons is marked "flat"..... "Gee, I wonder what that does," I thought to myself. And Self replied, "It tunes you to a flat, you idiot!"
great.
With open strings, no....but it's easy enough to do. Fret your low E string at the sixth fret and tune to the A on your tuner. Do the same same on the
A string and tune to D, on the D string and tune to G, on the G string fret the FIFTH fret and tune to B, and back to the sixth fret on the B string and tune to E. Tune the high E by ear to fifth fret on the B string....and there ya go.
And as an added suggestion, try weaning yourself away from that electronic tuner...
