Hi everyone. I just purchased my first beginners' guitar.

It's the Acoustic Fender Squier. I have no idea how to put on the strap. I know there's a button at the bottom to put it...but what about the lace? How do I balance the thing? Please help!

alwys play sitting down, so they don't ever give you the second pin for the strap. You can get a pin at a music store, and if you don't know guitars you'd better let them install it. The second option, probably the better idea at this point of your career, is to tie of the strap at the headstock either just above the nut, or between the tuners. Then again you can play sitting down, which I find much more comfortable.

Yeah, apparently the strap is rather short when I tie it to the nut.

I'll continue playing while sitting down.
