I have a Fender Precision Bass in excellent condition. I would like to know its value. The serial is J033877 so I know it was made in Japan 1989-1990. I've compared prices on Craigslist, Ebay, etc. but gt prices all over the spectrum. Can anyone give me a real value? Thanks!

If you have an actual Fender Pbass made in Japan 1989-90....and it is in fairly good shape and has a straight neck.....AND..If it is by chance the 1963 reissue version....I would hold onto it...they are worth alot and very well made....The Japs put in superior wiring and electronics and are much better made than the USA reissues from that same period...

Personally..I have been searching for a 63 reissue in triple sunburst with a rosewood fingerboard....from the mid 80s Jap line...So maybe I'll get lucky soon..and hopefully I can find a good deal on one after the holidays

hmm - that is good to know. Wow. How do I know if it is a 1963 reissue? I'm attaching a doc that has its picture. I'll try to get better ones. It is a sunburst too. Let me know what you think. Thanks! Merry Christmas!
