hi there,

i looking to buy a les paul, but as the used Gibson prices are going through the roof too ;( so im looking for a good option other than Gibson.

So, real well made alternatives? Tokai? i hear the LS 80/85/90s are good and in my price bracket (max 1k GPS).

Cheers, Dan

I bought an Epihone Les Paul Standard Plus Top in-lieu of the Gibson Les Paul due to the same reason "Money" and after getting it set up I'm happy with it. Go and try one out at a store (it should already be set up to make a sale and see what you think of it. They Epiphone above is only $550.00.
