Does your guitar look like a stratocaster?

If yes, then you have one of the new mass produced guitars akin to a Squier. Not necessarily a bad guitar, but the original Starcasters were world class guitars.

If you have a semi hollow bodied guitar that looks like a mutant 335 / strat, then you may have something special.

You have the remakes. Well the new Starcaster has nothing to do with the old one. The old one is a vintage guitar that was amazing. It looked like a Les Paul with its body shape and shiny Humbucker Pickups and hollow body but the new Starcaster that you have is a cheap guitar but its good because it was one of my first guitars. Now I have told 66' Starcaster which cost me over 1,000 dollars. But to plainly say, your guitar is the recent one.

Send an e-mail to Jeff at < This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it > and give him the serial number and maybe send the pictures of the guitar too, and ask:

1. When it was made (MM/DD/YYYY),
2. Where it was made, and
3. Ask for the original specification sheet for the guitar.
4.Also ask him any other questions you may have.

He will be able to research your guitar though Fender records.

Good Luck,
