Groove Tubes/Matching

I just received a matched Quad of the new EL 34M gold series(Mullard)..They used to in years past,bias very well..I tried both sets rated a 6..They were both off..set 1..36.5 and 38.5..The second set were a little better..Although the plate voltages were a little lower..set 2...38.3 and 39.1..Premium matched sets you know(Gold Series)..What ever happened to the good old days...The Marshall 2205 still sounds totally awesome..I'll take them..

I'd like to post a review of those Groove Tubes EL 34M,s,,They are the closest thing to the real deal I've heard in a while..For you Marshall guys out there if you can scrape up the money get a set or Quad...Better then my Siemens or J/J's or Ruby's...They kick ass!!...Very nice sounding AC/DC with My Hamer arch top and les Paul....."A" for sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... crobar...Tone Zone Inc..

Crobar, that is good to hear! I am happy you are so satisfied from the sound. I would love to see a review on the Groove Tubes
Perhaps even I could open a special forumsection for reviews so that it will be easier found if people are looking for it.

Thank you ..And, I think your idea is great...I'm looking for that tone zone to be sure...Anything to help....All I can say is: " Great tone is not cheap"....

That would be cool to review those tubes,I will be home later today 1/9/08..I played out with the Groove tubes EL 34m's last night..People were digging the low down sound/gain side...Real nice chime and harmonics/clean side...A Marshall 800 series amp with a great clean sound!!!!
