What is a good volume pedal? I have been thinking about getting one.
Sometimes it would be nice to have the flexibility of turning down/up while maintaining the same plucking intensity.

I use an old Morley. Built like a tank, no noise, works every time. I have no interest in anything else because this Morley does the trick.

Goodrich makes an opto-electric (photocell) pedal that kicks major ass.
Absolutely no loss of highs as you decrease volume unlike pedals that use pots. Marketed for pedal steel guitar, since PSG players are a major volume pedal market (every PSG player has to have one as part of his rig). I think they come in high and low (or slimline) models. You want the low one since you're not sitting down like a PSG player.

Ernie Ball is top notch. Has an extra 'tuner out' so you can turn off the volume to the amp and still tune... plus you can do all those cool volume swells or just use it to adjust levels. There are stero and mono versions of the pedals but unless you're running signals to two amps or have a really complex chain of effects, the mono will cut it.
