What is the best tuner for doing alternate tunings? Mainly I want to drop it down a half step, or change it to drop d. Any suggestions?
The buck stops here.

A Boss TU-15 will definately do the trick. I just bought one it's great.

Any good Chromatic tuner will let you tune to any key you like. I like the
Korg CA-10, at around $20 it's cheap and will let you tune almost anything.
