I've posted this on bassgear and the Dudepit so I might as well post it here too
I'm looking to move from five-string to four string and am searching for an interesting trade for my Lakland 55-94 Standard.
The bass is a solid 8.5 out of ten - there's a bit of pitting in the chrome on the bridge but no buckle rash. There are a couple of tiny headstock dings, though. I purchased the white pickguard from Lakland last year and installed it on this bass.
Y'all know the deal. Dead quiet 3-band Bartolini electronics, 35" scale, maple neck with graphite inserts, Hipshot Ultralite tuners and tone to die for. Includes OHSC - the tweed G&G model in great shape.
I'm not looking to sell (yet) but am looking for interesting trades. I think interesting trades are -
US Lakland four-strings - prefer Scheff, Glaub, 4-94 or Osborn. No
Skylines.
Fodera NYC Empire 4
Sadowsky - yeah, we're dreaming, I know - but you can't win if you don't play
Maybe Lull, Modulus or other interesting four-string trades.
There's a pic in the link here - sorry, the Fodera NYC Empire 5 on the left is not for sale - well it might be, but we're talking pristine NYC
Empire 4, Lakland hollowbody or Sadowsky in exchange for it
