1980s Ibanez UE400 multieffects for sale. Well used but fully working and amazingly quiet for a vintage multieffects. This one has 4 effects and a effects loop. The effects from left to right are COMPRESSION, PHASER,
OVERDRIVE, STEREO CHORUS/FLANGER, then EFFECTS LOOP.
This is a neat unit in that each effect has a 5 way switch (including the loop) so you can set the order of your effects by setting each effect to a distinct number.
So..if you wanted your compressor first, then chorus, delay (in the loop)
then phaser and overdrive, you could set Compressor to 1, chorus/flanger to 2 etc.etc.etc.
Nice warm tones. The footpedal has a nice long cord (18 to 19 ft)
and I have upgraded the connection. The original was an 8 pin push on type that always broke or lost the plastic shroud. I wired it with a 9 pin
NEUTRIX xlr-type lockin connector and it has been a blessing...
The only other replacements are the power switch (which now has a pushbutton/LED) and the output jack.
It has the TS-9 style footswitch buttons (this unit also came with the
TS-808 style small square buttons). Everything works perfectly...
Some people have stated that this has the TS-9 circuit in it...I have not seen a schematic to confirm or deny this. I had an original TS-808 and several original TS-9s and they all sounded different. This overdrive is excellent and I used this unit with a 68 Bandmaster Reverb combo and a Aria Pro II Les Paul from the 70s and it was all I needed...
