Can someone tell me the year this was made and if it is made in the usa, it is a Fender Stratocaster Plus.
Serial Number is: N1044794

I am about to buy it, just have not seen it yet !!

Hi Larry, welcome to the forum.

According to the fender website this was made in 1991-1992.

Yes it is made in the us.
If it was not you would have MN or JN (mexico or japan)
As for the year, N1 means Ninety-One.

I have black American Strat Plus. Great guitar.
Only work done on it was changing the roll nut on the neck.

You can contact Fender customer relations on line at fender.com and ask those questions and get the answers from the hourses mouth. Also request that they send you a specification sheet on the guitar. Don't forget to give them the serial number to research. It usually take Jeff a couple of days to answer. I have three fenders and know their system.
