What would be a good amount of neck relief for a Mex Fender J, with a 241 mm (9.5" radius neck. I have seen everything from 0.75mm to 0.3mm (0.012"

Years ago there was a post (may still be in FAQ?) with basic info on neck setup. It recommended 0.014" (0.35 mm). I have used it on my
Fenders (both P and J) and it seems to work pretty well. String height also affects the "feel", I think the recommendation was 3/16" at the
12th fret.
Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

Fender has posted "factory spec" setup info on the web. It's a good starting point.
